Karl Lagerfeld Gathers His Muses For "Mademoiselle Prive"

Over the years as the creative director of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld has amassed quite the number of muses. To add a dose of celebrity to the upcoming “Mademoiselle Prive” exhibition at The Saatchi Gallery, the Kaiser has roped in some of his well-known friends of the house to pose for a series of portraits – photographed by him of course – accompanied by stunning jewels from Gabrielle Chanel’s “Bijoux de Diamants” collection, designed by her in 1932, as well as pieces created specifically for them. While the portraits have not been released yet, Chanel has dropped a teaser of what went on behind the scenes of the shoot at 31 Rue Cambon. From the way the celebs are dressed, it seems like the shoot was done not long after – or before – Chanel’s Resort 2016 show in Paris. “Mademoiselle Prive” is scheduled to take place from October 13 to November 1, 2015 at The Saatchi Gallery in London. Admission is free.
